Reps. Dammeier and Zeiger invite public to town hall meeting Saturday, March 12

25th District lawmakers look forward to hearing from constituents, sharing views on legislative session

Reps. Bruce Dammeier and Hans Zeiger are inviting their constituents to a town hall meeting Saturday, March 12, in Puyallup. The event will be held at the downtown Puyallup Library from noon to 1 p.m. The 25th District lawmakers will take questions from the public and provide updates on the legislative session that is scheduled to run through April 24.

“A lot has happened in the Legislature these last few weeks, and important decisions on the economy, budget and education will be before state lawmakers soon. It is a great time for constituents to be involved in the legislative process and I look forward to the dialogue,” said Dammeier, R-Puyallup. “I encourage folks to come out and contact us if they have any questions.”

“The job of a legislator is to listen,” said Zeiger, R-Edgewood. “I want to hear from neighbors about their concerns and priorities. We need as much input as possible as we work to balance the budget.”

If residents have questions or comments before the event, they can contact Dammeier at (360) 786-7948 or bruce.dammeier@leg.wa.gov. Zeiger can be reached at (360) 786-7968 or hans.zeiger@leg.wa.gov.
