Rep. Zeiger Sponsors Student in Page Program

Freshman Benjamin Lam traveled to Olympia Feb.14-18 to serve as a page in the Washington State House of Representatives. He was sponsored by his 25th District State Representative Hans Zeiger.
Lam, the son of Canossa Ho and Son Lam of Puyallup, is a 15-year-old home school student.
Each day Lam attended page school to learn about the legislative process. As part of his duties, Lam distributed documents and notes to legislators and staff on the House floor, as well as around the Capitol campus.
“Ben is a serious and intelligent young man with a bright future in public service,” said Zeiger, R-Puyallup. “It was wonderful to spend time with him during his week in Olympia, and I look forward to seeing him excel in the years ahead.”
